Hi!
You can call me Ale.
I'm a Visual Communicator and graphic designer with focus on social justice and Environmental Advocacy themes. My work centers on transforming complex issues and matters into accessible and sensitive narratives and I love combining the language of documentary filmmaking with animation.
Graduated of Design and Visual Communication from UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico), I develop audiovisual resources, strategic campaigns, and educational materials with experience in editing, animation, illustration, infographic design, and documentary production.
I’ve worked with communication organizations such as La Sandía Digital on projects funded by the Heinrich Böll Foundation, as well as independent projects for New York University, among others, and various community initiatives in Mexico and abroad. In addition, I served as Director of Digital Media Post-Production at El Heraldo de México.
I currently collaborate with ETW media and reside in Vancouver Canada.
My inspiration lies in projects that unite art, communication and science to build more just and balanced worlds, where all forms of life are recognized and cared for.
