Hi!
You can call me Ale.
I'm a Visual Communicator, Documentarian, and Animator with a focus on social justice and Environmental Advocacy themes. My work centers on transforming complex issues and matters into accessible and sensitive narratives, combining the language of documentary filmmaking with animation.
Graduated of Design and Visual Communication from UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico), I develop audiovisual resources, strategic campaigns, and educational materials with experience in editing, animation, illustration, infographic design, and documentary production.
I have worked in communication organizations like La Sandía Digital, on projects subsidized by the Heinrich Böll Foundation, on independent projects, and community initiatives in Mexico and abroad. In addition, I was director of digital media post-production at El Heraldo de México.
I currently collaborate with ETW media and reside in Vancouver Canada.
My inspiration lies in projects that unite art, communication and science to build more just and balanced worlds, where all forms of life are recognized and cared for.
